Account Manager

Continued growth in the outsourced IT sector has created another great opportunity to join the team at Computer Service Centre. As an Account Manager in the Solutions Team, your responsibility is to understand, anticipate and deliver the IT needs of your established client base. You will need quickly to build an understanding of your clients, all of whom rely on Computer Service Centre to deliver their IT. Equally, you will need to swiftly absorb knowledge of the products and services we provide, and an understanding of how these relate to one another.

Our team operates in a fast-paced environment, processing the demands and requests of many clients every day, and we set and meet high expectations. It is therefore likely that the successful candidate will have experience of an account management or service delivery role in the IT sector.

Requirements:

  • First class listening skills, smart personal presentation, flexibility and reliability
  • Commercial awareness and strength of character
  • Comfort using and discussing Information Technology
  • An ability to work with cross functional teams and build strong internal relationships
  • Diligence, great attention to detail and the capability to make decisions based on competing information and pressures
  • An ability to learn, and an interest in a career, not a job
  • A full clean driving licence and willingness to travel

Responsibilities:

  • Research, prepare, issue and follow-up proposals to meet your client’s IT requirements in a timely fashion
  • Attend client meetings to review service levels and advise on broad IT strategy (initially with support) to meet their business requirements and generate opportunities
  • Develop and display ownership of the client experience for accounts in your portfolio
  • Attend networking events to represent the company and maintain awareness of our services
  • Work closely with colleagues in other departments, and maintain accurate and complete records to enable them to deliver and invoice correctly
  • Develop your knowledge and skills to further your own career with Computer Service Centre

Salary & Benefits:

  • Salary range £24k - £30k dependent on skill set and experience
  • Bonus scheme related to company performance
  • 4 weeks holiday in years 1-3, increasing to 5 weeks holiday after 3 years of service

Company contributory pension, company health care and company death in service cover after 1 year of service
